 Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Of course not! Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living.

  1. My favorite is Hebrews 11:1, which is connected with Hebrews 11:6. Btw, thanks for including Philippians 4:6-7. That’s sums up a great insight that there really is nothing fear.

  2. Thanks for the reminder on that verse! There are so many great verses, I find myself constantly updating this list. I fear some day it will list every verse in the bible, but I guess that isn’t such a bad thing.

    O no problem at all! I love them two verses for two reasons. One it teaches us there is nothing to fear, and two it helps me to realize God wants to hear all of my requests.
