Proverbs 1:28-33
“Then they will call to me but I will not answer;
they will look for me but will not find me,
since they hated knowledge
and did not choose to fear the LORD.
Since they would not accept my advice
and spurned my rebuke,
they will eat the fruit of their ways
and be filled with the fruit of their schemes.
For the waywardness of the simple will kill them,
and the complacency of fools will destroy them;
but whoever listens to me will live in safety
and be at ease, without fear of harm.”
I don’t believe there is much to say about this set of verses, for they sum up pretty well all that we have gone through already.
These verses are a lot like yesterdays verses. Warning us from continuing in our ways. What we put into ourselves, is what we are going to put out. Once again, what we surround ourselves with, is who we will become. We do need to be extremely careful with what we put into our body. As long as we are listening to the Holy Spirit, well remain on solid ground. The Holy Spirit will be with us, helping us discern right from wrong, and keeping our paths straight.
It all can be summed up with, seek the Spirits wisdom, and continue not in your simple ways.
